Hello.   

 

My name is Lara Madge.   I'm 53 years old and to give you a bit of a back drop, here are the essentials:

I am married to an amazing man, who I love with all my heart and who loves me with equal passion.   

We have a fabulous dog called Mary, which we adore. 

We have spent the last 8 years of our lives in a beautiful Hampshire village, living in a chocolate box house with an amazing garden.   

I have run the community village shop and cafe which is 3 doors down (tough commute).    There have been some challenges with my job every now and again but in general life has been easy and fun.   

We've made some amazing friends and my parents, who are both in fine health, live just down the road.   

LIFE IS SWEET!

So why, oh, why do we want to up sticks and head west to a village in Cornwall where we know no one?   

We have no connections with it and have only been there three times before we brought a house.   

It's a four hour drive (on a good day) from our friends and family, 

Why are we moving from this English idyll and possibly the prettiest house I will ever live in to live in a 1960's bungalow in a place where we know no one?
